Welcome to 2023, how are you doing?
I feel like all I keep seeing on social media are quotes about, “New Year, New Me.”
If it’s not that, it’s about goals, plans, and habits. I get it. It’s the New Year and everyone is excited to GROW everything.
Ahhhhh! Ok, I’m excited too but let’s plan for the long haul!
I want to share with you something more important than your goals, plans, and habits. I know you are excited to grow and build, but you must do this before anything else.
It’s what I call an annual review. It’s something I’ve been doing every year for quite some time to help me make more money, increase my time, expand my reach and gain peace.
In fact, I was just reviewing 2022 and it actually gave me so much more confidence, courage, and clarity to determine what I really wanted in 2023.
You might be wondering what kind of review you need to do.
I want to share with you six key areas to review and focus on. As you begin to reflect on these areas, you will begin to see patterns so you can create a blueprint for yourself.
Please take your time on these. If you do, 2023 will look incredibly different and much more intentional.
Success: What are you proud of this past year? It’s not bragging if you’ve done it. Plus it’s a phenomenal way to put courage into your tank.
Energy: What energized you and what de-energized you last year? Your next level of success is held back by people, places, and habits that are draining you.
Fear: What scared you this past year? Fear is often a mask of desire. Did you let it hold you back, or did you lean into it?
Growth: How did you grow this year? What did it look like for you?
Confidence: What are you most confident about in this current moment? Think of this area in the now and present moment.
Excitement: What are you excited about in the coming year? Now look forward into 2023, what are you excited about?
When you finish, take some time to think about what you want to do next. Close your eyes and imagine what this will look like.
I love what Philippians says, “He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion.”
I’m believing for that work to continue in you.
I’m believing for your vision to be solidified.
I’m believing for your mission to be clarified.
Let me know how you are doing and what I can do to help.
