HOW TO CREATE CASH FLOW. 3 THINGS YOU CAN DO RIGHT NOW

Have you ever felt like you needed to make more money?

This past week I flew to Newport Beach to see a client and make a few introductions. Deals have been spinning all around me and I thought it would be good to share some insights to get some going for you.

This photo is of one of my partners and friends having a coffee and catching up on new deals.

We caught up.

We cheered each other on regarding some wins.

We laughed about some of our losses.

This is the ebbs and flow of life.

Nothing is predictable.

Anything is possible.

But what does it actually take to generate more revenue?

If you are stuck, frustrated, and trying to figure out how to generate more revenue, my hope today is for you to get a few ideas to kick-start your cash flow immediately.

1. Evaluate where you are putting your energy and its returns.

Last year I caught myself in a lull with my business. Cash flow wasn’t what I wanted and I was racking my brain as to why?

I was busy, but was I busy with the right things?

I had to evaluate where I was putting my effort and their returns (ROI).

It’s not just about making the effort. It’s about making the RIGHT amount of effort into the RIGHT areas of your life or business.

Take some time now to evaluate where you are putting your time and are you happy with the returns you are getting.

Get honest with yourself.

2. Your network is your net worth

I can’t tell you how many times I have heard that saying, but when it came to me and my business, I was not maximizing it.

If I was really honest, I was scared to reach out to my personal network.

What do I mean by that?

Your connections are your cash flow.

One of the mistakes I was making was thinking my network was too busy to talk to me.

A Harvard Business statistic says 80% of the purchases you make are because you trust the brand or the person.

Trust is the grease that gets cash flow moving. When people trust you, they buy from you.

Your network and your friends trust you. Because they trust you, they want to help you. They want to help you out. They want to introduce you to good people.

The moment I began to double down on my network, everything changed.

Think about your network right now.

Think about ideas you are scared to share.

Think about who you need to share those ideas or plans with.

When will you reach out to your network?

When will you set a date and time to make it happen?

Your ability to generate wealth is closer than you realize.

Your head maybe spinning as you think of how you can generate cash.

You might be in a situation where you don’t know what to ask your network.

That’s ok. I’ve been there too.

Let me share with you another way to generate cash flow at any level of life. In fact, this last idea I’m going to share is something I am working on for a new devotional.

It’s the epicenter of all cash flow.

3. Find a problem and solve it.

One of my favorite quotes about problems says, “you will be remembered for the problems you solve or the ones you create.”

What do you want to be remembered for?

What skill sets do you have?

What problems can you solve right now?

Every problem generates a reward.

The greater the problem, the greater the reward.

A Starbucks employee makes $20 an hour, a surgeon makes $250 an hour. They solve different problems. They are rewarded differently.

If you want to generate cash flow in your life and your business, solve more problems. It’s that simple.

One of the things I do every day is to meditate and consider the problems I can solve today for someone.

I keep still and listen.

I review the problems I can solve.

I reflect on if those problems are things I can solve.

If they are, I go after them.

If they are not, I can either suggest them to someone else or partner with someone else to solve them.

Look around at all the problems around you.

Which problems can you solve?

Seek for problems to solve every day and your cash flow will radically change.

May God Bless you this year.

I’m praying with you and for you.
